Ziki Aggregates Content and Profiles for Promoting Personal Brands Online

Office 20.0LS Summary: Ziki gives people control of their image and reputation, while giving them the tools to successfully market their expertise and services in a dedicated online community.

How many online profiles do you have? Personally, I maintain profiles on everything including MySpace, FaceBook, flickr, Twitter, Jaiku, Tumblr, LinkedIn, among many, many others. Not to mention, I also run several blogs and a Website that further expands and complicates the intricate web of online networking.
As a small business owner, I’m constantly challenged with prospect of uniting all of these disparate online entities to showcase one cohesive personal brand online.
While Twitter and Tumblr aggregate RSS streams, it still doesn’t provide a killer presentation package surrounded by an active community of like-minded business professionals.
Ziki recently launched its BETA of an online community dedicated to helping people get visible on the Web, connect like-minded individuals, while also helping them promote their skills, products, and services.

Founded in January 2006 by Patrick Chassany and Olivier Rufin, Ziki provides a global network where members organize and manage their “scattered” online and offline identities combined with their content (blogs, podcasts, photos, Websites, galleries, videos, etc.) all in one, professionally-styled portfolio. Users can also have their personal or business name sponsored by Ziki on Google, Yahoo and MSN for free.
Each profile contains a user’s blog posts, description, links to profiles on outside social networks and sites including Myspace, Facebook, flickr, Yahoo360, Blogger, amazon, LinkedIn, vox, among others, as well as associated RSS feeds. Profiles also showcase views and links to the profiles of recent visitors.
“Ziki.com creates a one-stop community around those who offer skills or services and those seeking information and resources, all in a way that lets people manage their online identity and market their ‘brand’ effectively on the web,” said say Andre Taliercio, in charge of business development for Ziki. “It’s not only about profiles though, it’s also about bringing people together and giving them access to what they like, what they need, who they know, and what they want to publish and share on the Web. Ziki is the online community for the rest of us.”
Ziki is not just another social network; it is a platform for proactive people to increase visibility in a crowded digital world. Members can not only define the keywords that improve their search engine ranking, with, they can also create a set of tags that help other community members find them easier. Ziki is perfect for artists, photographers, service professionals, creative professionals, consultants, musicians, realtors, designers, lawyers, and entrepreneurs to give them the online visibility enjoyed by the top experts.
The company will also soon introduce services aimed helping users run extensive, online marketing campaigns, as well as providing branded communities specific for individual businesses.
